CopperBull Turkish Hammered Antique Copper Coffee Pot Review

This is our review of CopperBull’s hammered copper Turkish coffee pot. CopperBull has been one of our favorite coffee pot manufacturers, so there were a lot of expectations for this coffee pot. 

And we’re happy to report that their track record has not been marred in the slightest by this particular pot. 

The Quality & Durability of CopperBull’s Copper Turkish Coffee Pot

CopperBull and awesome build quality have pretty much become synonymous. This hammered copper pot is treated to the same 2mm thick copper plate as others we’ve tested, so there is no question of bending or deforming under extreme heat conditions. 

The usual non-reactive tin adorns the inside of this coffee pot, making it perfectly safe for preparing coffee without any risk of metal particles leaching into the drink. 

But because it’s still a handmade product, you’ll have to be extra careful when cleaning or washing it. That means keeping it out of the dishwasher!

Capacity

You only get one size for this coffee pot. But that size is an astonishing 22 fl oz, making this one of the most voluminous Turkish coffee pots we’ve come across. 

It’s large enough to serve almost 10 demitasse cups of coffee. And if you prefer a full size US cup, this pot can serve you and a friend with half a cup left over. Or in other words, it can serve 2.5 standard US cups. 

Design

We like when brands ax the gimmicks and just focus on making a simple, well-designed coffee pot. And that’s exactly what the CopperBull does. 

Most other pots try to get fancy by designing their pots with flared mouths or tapered bases. CopperBull’s pot is definitely guilty of the former, but resists the second for a more uniform, simplified look. 

It is offered in just one color, an antique copper. But that color pairs really well with the textured surface that adds a bit of flair to an otherwise subtle design. 

Interestingly, the handle is made of flattened brass, but some metallurgical wizardry means you don’t end up burning yourself when pouring. And the integrated spout lets you avoid any spillage. 

Price

CopperBull’s pot presents a pretty compelling deal, and the price is more than reasonable. Factor in best-in-class build quality, and it’s a downright bargain!

Customer Support

Sadly, this coffee pot does not come with a warranty. That said, while they aren’t particularly active on the product page for this pot, CopperBull are generally pretty communicative with their customers, if you have any questions. 

Additional Features

You don’t get any additional features with this coffee pot. That’s just one drawback of the reasonable price. 

Other Things You Can Use CopperBull’s Copper Turkish Coffee Pot For

Because this coffee pot is one of the largest on the market and is compatible with a variety of cooking surfaces, it can be used for the odd kitchen tasks, such as heating up milk, melting butter, or just boiling water. 

It also makes for a relatively inexpensive, yet thoughtful stocking stuffer for the coffee enthusiast in your life. 

And if all else fails, you can just display it on the mantle, and claim it is a priceless family heirloom, passed down from one generation to the next!

Of course, we could just be channeling our inner Scrooge! Other customers have nothing but positive experiences to share. This pot gets 4.7 stars out of 5 on Amazon, with most reviews speaking highly of the decluttered design and high capacity. 

Editor’s Conclusion

Maybe we’re focusing on the wrong stuff with this review. Maybe what the people really value in a Turkish coffee pot is high quality build and little else. Or Maybe add-ons and dishwasher-safe ratings are just a ‘nice-to-have’ rather than a ‘need-to-have’. 

To sum up, this coffee pot nails the design, build, capacity, and even the price. So if that’s what you’re looking for, maybe CopperBull’s hammered copper Turkish coffee pot is the one for you.
