Arzum Okka Jet Automatic Turkish Coffee Maker Review

This review is going to introduce you to a relative newcomer in the Turkish coffee maker space, but one that we think is on track to become a household name in the near future. We are talking, of course, about the Arzum Okka Jet coffee maker.

This is the latest offering from the good people at Arzum Okka, who have in the past made some of our absolute favorite and highest rated machines. 

At a glance, this is a compact, and budget-friendly, yet highly capable coffee machine. It also has a couple other features that we’ll get into below.

Arzum Okka Jet Turkish Coffee Maker: Design

They really caught lightning in a bottle with the design of this coffee machine. It’s a sleek and modern look that is bound to tie in well with your kitchen. 

It uses high quality, BPA-free plastic for the entire build, which means it’s lightweight and compact but also quite durable. You also don’t have to worry about getting any microplastics or leaching of toxins in your coffee. 

The machine itself is wider at the bottom and narrow at the top, giving it better stability wherever you place it on your kitchen countertop. 

It comes in a matte black color that looks a more upmarket than the gloss black offerings we’ve seen. Moreover, you don’t have to put up with any greasy fingerprints on the coffee machine either, which keeps it looking clean. 

Subtle gold accents on the pot handle are the only splash of color on this monochrome unit, but it’s a look that just works. 

Capacity

The ‘Jet’, as it came to be known by the folks in the office, can brew about 5 cups of coffee in one go. That’s actually pretty surprising for a coffee machine of this size, as some of its rivals can barely manage 3 cups. 

The pot comes in at 12 fluid ounces, which is in line with other coffee machines at this price point. 

Controls

This is a truly ‘one-button operation’ coffee machine, by which we mean there’s literally just one button that you use to control the machine. 

This cleans up the design, and also enables a hassle-free brewing experience. 

Brewing

Speaking of brewing, this coffee machine churns out a pretty good cup of joe! The flavors are balanced and there isn’t any grit or large coffee particles to ruin your experience, courtesy of the integrated reusable filter. 

But the first thing you notice about the aptly named ‘Jet’ is just how quickly it brews coffee. We’ve tested the vast majority of Turkish coffee machines on the market, so believe us when we say that this is one of the fastest brewing machines money can buy. 

And you don’t sacrifice any quality either. Flavor extraction has always been one of Arzum Okka’s strengths and that is unchanged here. 

Price

Our second favorite feature of this coffee machine is its budget-friendly price. As we write this review, this machine is among the least expensive in its class. 

It undercuts most of the competition, while providing better brewing performance. In a nutshell, the ‘Jet’ is one of the best deals out there right now.

Arzum Okka offer a 2-year warranty with this coffee machine. This covers any manufacturing defects, so you can buy with more confidence. 

What are the Additional Features of The Arzum Okka Jet Turkish Coffee Maker?

This machine uses a special sensor that automatically turns it off when the pot is filled up, thus preventing spillage. 

It comes with a measuring spoon that lets you use just the right amount of coffee without any spillage. 

That’s pretty much it for this machine’s special features. Obviously, the budget price means you miss out on variable temperature settings, multiple drink selections and the like, but that’s to be expected.

Like we said, this machine is a future classic. It only went on sale recently and so ratings on Amazon are pretty limited. However, it has 5/5 stars, and the reviews are overwhelmingly positive.
