Karaca Hatır Hüp Turkish Coffee Machine: Design

Karaca’s design language really speaks to our minimalist sensibilities. This coffee machine is made of high quality plastic, but with a premium surface finish that gives it an almost ‘anodized aluminum’ look. 

It’s a bit bigger than other coffee machines, but it carries its weight well and we never had any issues when setting it up on kitchen countertops or storing it in cabinets. 

The rubber feet integrated into the bottom make this coffee machine a lot more stable and planted. So, you don’t have to worry about knocking it over with an elbow. 

Really, there’s nothing very flashy about the design of this coffee machine. It has a sleek, modern look, which a lot of people like. However, if you prefer a bit more drama or occasion in your coffee machine’s design, you will have to look elsewhere. 

Karaca Hatır Hüp Turkish Coffee Machine: Capacity

That slightly larger size means this coffee machine has a larger tank for brewing. In fact, this machine has a capacity of 5 cups. That’s on the high end for Turkish coffee machines, and makes this a great option if you entertain guests more frequently.

To be a bit more specific, the coffee machine can brew 300 ml of coffee in one go. Again, that’s on the high end for a machine of this class, and even gives larger, more expensive machines a run for their money. 

Controls

The controls are laid out in an intuitive way. Plus, there’s a fair bit of options for you to play around with and get your coffee just right. 

You have the option of using one-button operation with this coffee machine. This is really convenient, and saves you a ton of time. All you have to do is make sure there’s coffee and water present, press a button, and the machine takes care of the rest. 

Brewing

That brings us to this machine’s brewing performance. In so many words, this machine outputs some of the best coffee we’ve ever tasted. 

Every cup had full flavor, and a silky texture that reminded us of the coffee served at cafes. This machine uses automatic temperature control, wherein the machine intelligently regulates brewing temperature so that it is always at optimal levels. 

If you like thick, luxurious foam over your coffee, this is the machine for you. We were treated to a smooth layer of foam on every cup, a feature that got this coffee machine a lot of compliments from our guests as well. 

Brew times aren’t too long, and the machine gives you audio/visual reminders when it finishes a brew, so you get fresh coffee at just the right temperature. 

Price

The price of this coffee machine is neither too high, nor is it so low that we would consider it a bargain. All said and done, it’s in line with other coffee machines that offer similar performance, and we think it’s a pretty good deal.

This coffee machine comes with a 2-year warranty. Moreover, the seller has a good track record when it comes to engaging with customers and answering their questions on Amazon.

Additional Features

It’s not done quite yet. The Hatır Hüp has a number of really cool features that you might not see on other machines at this price point. 

You get an overflow protection system that uses sensors to prevent overfilling of the coffee pot. This has saved us from having to clean up spills on more than a few occasions!

This machine comes with a feature that actually safeguards long-term performance and reliability. It prevents the machine from running if there is no water in the tank, thus preventing the heating element from getting damaged. 

Another huge plus point of this coffee machine is that it comes with a milk steamer. That opens up a whole world of possibilities, and adds a lot of variety to the type of drinks you can make with this machine. 

You also get a measuring spoon in the box, letting you get just the right amount of coffee for each brew.
