We’re always on the hunt for a high quality, budget-friendly electric Turkish coffee pot. So when the Brentwood TS-117S found its way onto our desk, it was like all of our prayers were answered!

This Turkish coffee maker from Brentwood is pretty much the whole package, combining a sturdy build, ergonomic design, and great capacity, all into a package that costs less than most every pot we’ve tested!

Quality & Durability of the Brentwood TS-117S

Kicking it off on a high note, this Brentwood electric Turkish coffee pot is made from durable stainless steel. Besides making the whole coffee maker relatively lightweight, it also means that it’s less prone to getting damaged over time. 

The whole pot is stainless steel, all the way through. This means the inner lining does not leach any chemicals into your coffee. 

This is a welcome departure from the usual budget-friendly coffee pots we test that are made of plastic and almost always give off a weird smell or taste when you make coffee. 

Unfortunately, since this is an electric Turkish coffee pot, you can’t just chuck it in the dishwasher. 

Some higher-end models we’ve tested have detachable pots that allow you to wash the pot in a dishwasher without getting any of the electric components wet, but not so on this budget-friendly Turkish coffee maker. 

Capacity

Moving on to the capacity, we were impressed by how voluminous this coffee maker is. It can brew up to 5 cups of coffee at a time, which means you can easily serve larger parties as well. 

It’s only available in the one size, but even that is on the high end for a budget-friendly coffee pot such as this. 

We were surprised to learn that this budget-friendly coffee maker also features boil-dry protection which prevents the heating element from turning on if there isn’t any water in the pot. 

Design

One aspect of this electric Turkish coffee maker that is admittedly pretty bland and uninspired is the design. Sure, the brushed metal look of the stainless steel looks cool and upmarket, but that’s pretty much it. 

There are no other design elements worth noting, really. The handle is pretty ergonomic and makes pouring coffee a breeze. It’s also made of heat-resistant plastic, so you don’t burn yourself. 

The power button is integrated into this handle, so you can turn off the coffee maker and start pouring in one smooth motion. 

And finally, you get a lid and spout combo with this electric Turkish coffee maker. So suffice to say, you couldn’t spill coffee from this pot even if you wanted to!

Price

We’ve done nothing but rave about the budget-friendly price of this coffee maker throughout this review. So to really drive the point home, this is easily one of the best deals we’ve seen in any electric Turkish coffee pot, and it should definitely be on your shortlist.

Reviews are overwhelmingly positive, with most people commending the lightweight build and compact styling. But the one feature that everyone seems to rave about is the inexpensive price.
