LaModaHome Turkish Coffee Pot/Cup Set Review

In this review, we talk about the Turkish coffee set from LaModaHome. We really liked this coffee set for its splendid design, awesome build quality, and variety of features that make it a really compelling deal at this price. 

The Quality & Durability of LaModaHome’s Turkish Coffee Set

While most of the competition opts for copper, or even brass, or stainless steel, LaModaHome went with Zamak metal for the build of this coffee set. 

In our experience, Zamak metal is a great alternative to those materials, offering a lot of durability and a unique finish. 

Unfortunately, you won’t be able to chuck this set in the dishwasher. Only the porcelain coffee cups may be cleaned that way. 

Overall though, we didn’t have any issues with build quality, so there isn’t much to complain about. 

Capacity

The pot comes in at a healthy 10 ounces, while the two cups can hold 2 ounces each. The large size of the pot makes it ideal for serving guests.

Design

It may be a cheaper coffee set, but it still manages to turn heads with its design. The use of Zamak allows LaModaHome to play around with the finishes and offer different looks. You get the usual copper, a premium gold, and two different options of silver. 

Whichever one you end up getting, the intricately carved traditional patterns engraved on the whole set look quite authentic. 

The inner lining of the pot is non-reactive tin, and the inclusion of a spout and heat-resistant handle makes serving coffee easier as well. 

Price

This set is pretty competitively-priced, given what you get. Some other sets at this price point only offer the pot and one cup/holder/lid/saucer combo. This one manages to fit in all of that, plus a sugar bowl, coffee sample, and a serving tray as well, adding that much more value to the whole package. 

Customer Support

Unfortunately, this coffee set doesn’t come with a warranty. But then again, that’s about par for the course with budget-friendly coffee sets like this one. 

Additional Features

LaModaHome managed to include a small bag of coffee with this coffee set. And while that bag is admittedly pretty small, it is from premium Turkish coffee brand Mehmet Efendi, so we aren’t complaining!

To make the package even more compelling, some regions will also get the set with an included spoon for mixing coffee. Again, some regions won’t, so it’s worth checking with the seller before ordering.

Because it’s a full set and can serve two people, this coffee set makes for a thoughtful gift. Not to mention, the authentic design and durable build also lend themselves well to being displayed in a living room or den and adding to the décor.

Amazon is also pretty positive about this set. It receives 4.7/5 stars, based on 227 ratings. People praise the durable build and the unique design, and absolutely rave about the budget-friendly price tag!

Editor’s Conclusion

If our review of the LaModaHome coffee set proves anything, it is that a Turkish coffee set doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg in order to be competitive. 

Not to mention, with such inexpensive coffee sets offering so many features, the more expensive players are bound to take notice and feel the pressure!
